Reston-based SyncDog, Inc. adds Secure ActiveSync technology to its SyncDog Sentinel Enterprise Mobility solution and will feature the new technology at CTIA’s Super Mobility Week in Las Vegas, September 9th-11th.

Reston, VA, August 13, 2014 – SyncDog, a leader in secure enterprise mobility today announced that it has acquired certain Secure ActiveSync agent technology from LRW Technologies. The acquisition further enhances SyncDog’s Sentinel Secure Enterprise Mobility Suite to include application protection. The added technology allows SyncDog customers to segment their corporate applications from employee applications on the increasing number personal smartphones and tablets on enterprise networks due to the BYOD (bring your own device) explosion.

“As InfoSec practitioners, we have to accept BYOD and the risks that come with personal devices on private corporate networks,” said Jonas Gyllensvaan, president and CEO of SyncDog, Inc. “If we are going to secure our datacenters, we must segment corporate data on these personal devices, and this was the genesis of acquiring some of the LRW technology.”

The addition of the LRW Technologies functionality completes the latest build of SyncDog Sentinel Enterprise Mobility version 4.5, which will officially launch at CTIA’s 2014 Super Mobility Week at the Sands Expo and Conference Center, Las Vegas, September 9th through 11th. SyncDog will be exhibiting at Super Mobility Week, in the MobileCON Pavilion, in booth number 7711.

The SyncDog/LRW Technologies transaction was finalized on May 19th, 2014. Details of the transaction were not disclosed. Reston, VA M&A advisory firm Signal Hill participated in the transaction.
